Pastor Richardson joined us in May, 2026. Raised in West Frankfort, Illinois he moved to Valdosta, Georgia in 1994. Bob committed his life to Christ in his early twenties. He met and married his wife Robbin in 1995 and moved to Waycross, Georgia. He went on to earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Valdosta State University as well as a Masters of Arts in Theology from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. 

Before coming to FBC Alma, Bob served as a pastor of churches in South Georgia and one in North Georgia.

He joined us to serve in a bi-vocational role as he also works at Bacon County High School as a Science Teacher.

He has a passion for preaching and missions and is excited to lead First Baptist Church of Alma to fulfill Habakkuk 2:14, which desires to see “that the earth be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.”
